Add a pal from another IM service

At this time Paltalk supports AOL, ICQ and Yahoo messengers

When you log into another IM service you can add your pals from that service to your 'pal list'.

Once they are on your 'pal list' you can open IM sessions (chats) with them, and even invite them into a multimedia chat room on Paltalk!

To add a pal from another IM service to your 'pal list' follow these steps...

Step 1
login to the IM service that your pal uses by selecting 'login to other IM service' from the 'actions' menu on the main 'pal list window'

Step 2
Select the 'pals tab' on the main pal list window

Step 3
click the appropriate button for the IM service that your pal uses, located on the lower portion of the window

the 'chat with other IM services' window launches and the tab for the appropriate service is selected

Step 4
enter the nickname or email address of the person you would like to add into the text entry box

Step 5
press the 'Add XXX pal' button

A message will be sent to the IM service with your request and be processed according to that users privacy settings on that IM service.

If the user is successfully added to your 'pal list' they will appear either as 'online' or 'offline' on your 'pal list' with the appropriate graphic 'icon' representing the service that the nickname is associated with.
